Karup Design One-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage:
Karup Design warrants to the original purchaser that its furniture products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. During the limited warranty period, Karup Design will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective component(s) necessary to restore the product to proper working condition. Replacement parts may be new or reconditioned, and in cases where identical materials are unavailable, a reasonably equivalent substitute may be provided.
Exclusions:
This limited warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligence, including but not limited to stains, spills, burns, pet damage, use for which a product was not designed, or modifications made by the purchaser.
- Damage caused by improper use or maintenance, such as use without an appropriate mattress or placement on uneven surfaces.
- Damage caused by jumping, falling, or dropping heavy items onto the product.
- Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic blemishes such as scratches, dents, or fading that do not affect the product’s structural integrity or function.
- Any outdoor use whatsoever.
- Damage due to commercial, rental, or institutional use. Any use at a commercial address nullifies this limited warranty.
Claim Process:
To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue, along with a photo if requested. Karup Design reserves the right to inspect the product to determine the nature and cause of the defect.
Limitations:
This limited warranty only provides coverage to the original purchaser. It is non-transferable and applies only to products purchased through authorized retailers. The remedies provided under this warranty are exclusive and in lieu of all other remedies. Karup Design shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or breach of this limited warranty.
