In 1972 Karup Design was founded in the Danish city where our name arises. Our primary focus is and has always
been on making room for more, in less space, through functional and stylish furniture.

Multifunctionality is – and has always been – the hallmark of Karup Designs. However, there is one type of
furniture that has dominated our selection over the years – the futon.
